Amanda is Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Red Earth Theatre. She has co-produced and co-devised all Red Earth’s shows to date.
Prior to setting up Red Earth Theatre, Amanda worked as a director in Theatre in Education, Community and Rural Touring theatre. She is a qualified teacher and has taught in secondary, F.E. and H.E. She is proud to be on the advisory Board of Adverse Camber, a Derbyshire based spoken word company touring nationally and internationally.
Amanda has recently begun learning the clarinet and has started playing the piano again. Music is a very important element of Red Earth’s shows, and of Amanda’s life, alongside exercising with the Harshest Critters, reading and cooking.
