Laura originally worked with Red Earth as a graduate and has since designed numerous shows for the company which have toured to a multitude of venues nationwide. Her working relationship with Red Earth is wholly collaborative and the designs grow with the devising process right up until the show is open.
In addition to her work with Red Earth, Laura has designed for a range of national companies including Nottingham Playhouse, The RSC, Polka Theatre, English National Opera, Sheffield Crucible and York Theatre Royal. In addition to designing productions she also leads creative design based workshops in a variety of settings.
Laura is also very passionate about her own practise as an artist. This has led to exhibiting twice in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the creation of her company wewonder design with her husband Dominic. She works from her studio in Bristol, which is part of the Centrespace Creative Co-operative.
