Calm and Creative in a time of Crisis

Red Earth on Virtual Tour

Red Earth Theatre is on Virtual Tour, and your place is our next venue.

We’ll be coming to you directly with a live streamed and recorded programme of family-friendly, theatre-based events each week.

There are 3 Virtual Tour sessions a week, each led by one of Red Earth Theatre’s amazing team of freelance artists. We’ll bring fun activities you can do together, in your place, to make your own theatre-based stuff. So, packed into every nook and cranny of our virtual tour van is a piece of kit, an idea, a bit of a bricolage for you to play with: story telling; creating characters; theatre design; music and song writing; lighting and sound design; puppet making and, helping us to stay focused and grounded, mindfulness.

To help us create great things together, we’ll be using some of the images and text from The Red Tree, by the award winning writer and artist, Shaun Tan. We’re immensely grateful to Shaun and to Hachette Australia for giving us permission to use digital images of book.
